Licence to Alter

Not all alterations to your flat will require a Licence. It depends on the terms of your Lease and the work you intend to do.

If you fail to obtain prior consent from your Freeholder or Management Company you may be required to reinstate your flat to its former condition and/or pay for remedial work to the building as a whole.

It is therefore strongly advisable to contact us before carrying out any work to see if a Licence is required. If it is we will give details of the procedure to be followed, and any cost involved, in obtaining that Licence.
